Welcome to Globfone’s Free Phone Project! This guide will help you understand our Credibility System and how to unlock access to free communication services.
What is the Credibility System?
The Credibility System is a trust-based verification framework designed to protect all users on the Globfone network from abuse, spam, and fraudulent activity. By completing simple verification steps, you demonstrate that you’re a genuine user, which unlocks access to our free communication services.
Why Was Credibility Introduced?
Free communication services are vulnerable to abuse by:
- Spammers sending bulk unwanted messages
- Fraudsters using anonymous accounts for scams
- Bots creating fake accounts to exploit the system
The Credibility System ensures that:
- Real people get access to free services
- Network quality remains high for everyone
- Your data is protected and never used for marketing without your consent
- Critical communication is available when you need it most (e.g., if you lose your phone)
Understanding Credibility Levels
Globfone uses a 4-level credibility scale (0/3 to 3/3). Each level requires specific verification steps and unlocks different services.

Two Services, One Credibility System
Globfone offers two distinct services that share the same credibility levels:
Globfone FREE (Ad-Supported)
- Completely free communication services
- Supported by watching advertisements
- Access via
/freepages on the website - Requires credibility verification to prevent abuse
Globfone Premium (Prepaid)
- Pay-as-you-go service with no ads
- Access via the Premium Panel
- Better rates and more features
- Also uses credibility for account security
Important: Your credibility level is shared between both services. Completing verification for Free also benefits your Premium account, and vice versa!
How to Increase Your Credibility Level
If you’re using Globfone FREE:
visit the Enabling Page at:
https://premium.globfone.com/free/enabling
This page displays 4 verification covers (steps) that guide you through the process:
Cover 1: Complete Your Profile (Reach Level 1/3)
What you need to do:
- Navigate to
/free/enabling - Fill in the following required fields:
- Address (street address)
- City
- Postal Code
- Country (select from dropdown)
- Click “Save Profile”
What happens:
- Your email is automatically verified when you log in
- Completing these 4 profile fields increases your credibility to 1/3
- You unlock access to Video Chat
Why we need this:
These basic details help us verify you’re a real person and comply with telecommunications regulations.
Cover 2: Verify Your Phone Number (Caller ID) (Reach Level 2/3)
What you need to do:
- After completing Cover 1, Cover 2 becomes active
- Click “Add Caller ID” or “Verify Phone Number”
- Enter your phone number with country code (e.g.,
+1234567890) - Click “Send Verification Code”
- You’ll receive a 4-digit verification code via:
- Voice call (automated announcement) – tried first
- SMS (text message) – fallback if voice fails
- Enter the code within 10 minutes
- Click “Verify”
What happens:
- Your phone number is verified and set as your default Caller ID
- Your credibility increases to 2/3
- You unlock access to Free SMS (text messaging)
- Your Free account is automatically created (if not already existing)
Important notes:
- The verification code expires after 10 minutes
- You can have up to 5 Caller IDs per account
- Maximum 3 verification attempts per number (then 1-hour cooldown)
Cover 3: Verify Your Payment Card (Reach Level 3/3)
What you need to do:
- After completing Cover 2, Cover 3 becomes active
- Click “Verify Card” or “Add Payment Method”
- You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s secure payment page
- Enter your bank card details:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVC/CVV code
- Complete the verification
What happens:
- Your identity is verified through your bank card
- Your credibility reaches 3/3 (maximum level)
- You unlock access to Free Phone Calls
- Full access to all Globfone FREE services
Important security information:
- This is a zero-cost verification – no charges are made
- Globfone never sees or stores your card details
- All card data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)
- Charges only occur if you later choose to top up your Premium account
- You can remove your card anytime from your account settings
Cover 4: Activate Your Free Account
What you need to do:
- Nothing! This step is automatic.
What happens:
- Once you complete Cover 2 (phone verification), your Free account is automatically created
- Once you complete Cover 3 (card verification), full services are activated
- You receive SIP credentials for making calls
- Your account is credited with initial balance (typically €0.20)
For Premium Users: Verification in Premium Panel
If you’re using Globfone Premium, you can complete verification steps directly in the Premium Panel:
Profile Tab
- Complete your profile information (same as Cover 1)
- Increases credibility to 1/3
Settings → Caller ID Tab
- Add and verify your phone number
- Increases credibility to 2/3
Transactions Tab
- Make your first payment/top-up
- The payment process includes card verification
- Increases credibility to 3/3
Note: Card verification also happens automatically when you make your first successful payment (not just during checkout initiation).
Services Available at Each Level
Level 0/3 – New User
Available Services:
- P2P File Sharing
- Account registration and login
- Browse service information
Level 1/3 – Profile Complete
Available Services:
- Video Chat (NEW!)
- All Level 0 services
Level 2/3 – Phone Verified
Available Services:
- Free SMS (text messaging to selected countries) (NEW!)
- Free account activation
- All Level 1 services
Note: At Level 2, your Free account is created, but you cannot make voice calls yet. You can send SMS messages to countries marked as “free_sms” in the system.
Level 3/3 – Fully Verified
Available Services:
- Free Phone Calls (voice calls to selected countries) (NEW!)
- Full access to all Free services
- All Level 2 services
- Access to SIP credentials for softphone apps
- Ability to recharge balance by watching ads
This is the highest level – you have complete access to everything Globfone offers!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I need to complete verification for both Free and Premium?
No! Credibility levels are shared across both services. Completing verification once unlocks features in both Free and Premium.
Is my data safe?
Yes! We are committed to protecting your privacy:
- Your verification data is stored securely and encrypted
- We never use your data for marketing without explicit consent
- Card details are handled exclusively by Stripe (we never see them)
- Phone verification is only used to prevent abuse
What if I don’t want to add a payment card?
You can still use Globfone with Level 2/3 credibility, which gives you access to:
- Video Chat
- Free SMS
- P2P File Sharing
However, Free Phone Calls require Level 3/3 (card verification) to prevent abuse of the voice network.
Can I remove my card after verification?
Yes! Once verified, your credibility level remains at 3/3 even if you remove the card. However, you won’t be able to make Premium top-ups without a card on file.
How long does verification take?
- Profile completion: 2-3 minutes
- Phone verification: 1-2 minutes (code arrives within seconds)
- Card verification: 2-3 minutes (processed instantly by Stripe)
Total time: approximately 5-10 minutes to reach full 3/3 credibility!
What countries are supported for Free services?
The list of eligible nations is frequently updated – the latest data can be seen in the Webphone and SMS Editor dropdowns.
You can check available countries in the service interface.
