Free SMS Messaging Manual
Step 1 – Country code
Use the country search to find the destination where you want to send your SMS. The list shows only countries and operators currently supported by our Free SMS service. Once you select a country, the correct international prefix is applied automatically and used to calculate how many Free SMS you can send from your current balance.
Step 2 – Recipient’s number
Enter the phone number of the recipient. Make sure to enter the correct number to ensure your message reaches the intended recipient. The number should be entered without the country code as it’s already selected in Step 1.
Step 3 – Compose message
Type your message in the text box. The character counter below the field shows how many characters you have used and which encoding will be applied. Longer messages may be split into multiple SMS segments depending on your language and the rules of the mobile networks, so for best reliability keep your message short and clear.
Step 4 – Send SMS
Click the “Send” button to submit your SMS. Globfone checks your FREE balance, destination eligibility and security rules before forwarding the message to our SMS providers. As long as your free balance covers the cost for this destination, your SMS will be sent towards the recipient’s phone.
Step 5 – Confirmation
After sending, you will see a status message on the screen confirming whether your request was accepted and, when available, how many Free SMS remain for your balance. Because Free SMS uses different providers, sponsored routes and changing offers for each country, delivery times and success rates can vary. In most cases the cost calculation follows our costs and it may change depending on our providers, promotions, sponsors and technical conditions.
