How to Increase Your Credibility
If you are using Globfone FREE, the easiest place to start is the Enabling page. It presents the process as four covers, each connected to a specific verification milestone.
Cover 1: Complete Your Profile
- Open
/free/enabling. - Fill in your address, city, postal code, and country.
- Save the profile.
Result: you reach credibility level 1/3 and unlock video chat. Email verification is handled automatically when you log in.
Why this matters: these basic details help confirm that the account belongs to a real person and support compliance requirements around telecommunications services.
Cover 2: Verify Your Phone Number (Caller ID)
- After Cover 1, activate phone verification.
- Enter your phone number with country code.
- Request the verification code.
- Enter the 4-digit code within 10 minutes.
The code is usually attempted by automated voice call first, with SMS used as a fallback if needed.
- Your phone number becomes a verified Caller ID.
- Your credibility increases to 2/3.
- Free SMS becomes available.
- Your Free account is created automatically if it does not already exist.
Notes: the code expires after 10 minutes, you can have up to 5 Caller IDs, and repeated failures may trigger a cooldown period.
Cover 3: Verify Your Payment Card
- After Cover 2, open card verification.
- You will be redirected to Stripe.
- Enter your card details on the secure Stripe page.
- Complete verification.
Result: your credibility reaches 3/3 and Free phone calls are unlocked.

- Globfone does not store your card details.
- Stripe handles card processing in a PCI-compliant environment.
- You can remove the card later if needed.
Cover 4: Free Account Activation
This step is automatic. After phone verification your Free account can be created, and after card verification full calling capabilities are activated. At that point you may also receive the SIP credentials and initial account state required for the service to function.
Verification in the Premium Panel
Premium users follow a very similar logic, but the steps appear in the Premium panel rather than on the public enabling flow.
- Profile tab: complete profile details to reach 1/3.
- Settings → Caller ID: add and verify your number to reach 2/3.
- Transactions: complete your first card-based payment flow to reach 3/3.
Because the credibility system is shared, progress made in Premium helps Free, and progress made in Free helps Premium.

No. The credibility level is shared across both environments, so one completed verification path benefits the whole account.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Verification data is stored securely, phone checks are used to prevent abuse, and card details are processed by Stripe rather than stored by Globfone.
What if I do not want to add a payment card?
You can still reach 2/3 credibility and use services such as video chat, Free SMS, and file sharing. Free phone calls require 3/3 because voice traffic needs stronger abuse prevention.
Can I remove my card later?
Yes. After successful verification your credibility can remain at 3/3, although you would need a valid card again for future Premium top-ups.
How long does the full process usually take?
