The Globfone credibility system is a trust-based verification framework that protects Free and Premium users from abuse, spam and fraud. Instead of opening every service to every new account, access grows as the account becomes more trustworthy. The process is short and each step is tied to features you can actually use. This guide explains each level, how to reach it, how long it takes and what to do if a step does not work.

Why it exists
Free communication tools attract spammers, fraudsters and bots that create fake accounts to exploit free traffic. Without trust checks, they could overload messaging and calling infrastructure. For nearly fifteen years Globfone did not ask for registration, and abuse of that openness led to serious operational problems and to partners' complaints. The credibility system keeps quality high, protects legitimate users and makes sure scarce resources are available to real people. It also supports the legal requirements that apply to telecommunications services.
Free and Premium share one level
Your credibility level is shared between Globfone Free and Globfone Premium. Verify once and both sides of your account benefit.
How to raise your level
The Credibility page in your account presents the process as four covers, each tied to one milestone.
Cover 1: Complete your profile
- Open the Credibility page.
- Fill in your address, city, postal code and country.
- Save the profile.
Result: level 1/3 and longer P2P chat limits. Email verification is automatic when you log in. These details confirm that the account belongs to a real person and support compliance requirements around telecommunications services.
Cover 2: Verify your phone number (Caller ID)
- Activate phone verification.
- Enter your number with the country code and request the code.
- Enter the 4-digit code within 10 minutes.
The code is usually sent by an automated voice call first, with SMS as a fallback. Your number becomes a verified Caller ID, your level rises to 2/3, free SMS becomes available and your Free account is created automatically. You can have up to five Caller IDs, and repeated failures can trigger a short cooldown.
Cover 3: Verify your payment card
- Open card verification; you are redirected to Stripe.
- Enter your card details on the secure Stripe page.
- Complete the verification.
Result: level 3/3 and free phone calls. The check costs nothing, Globfone does not store your card details and you can remove the card later.
Cover 4: Free account activation
This step is automatic. After phone verification your Free account can be created, and after card verification full calling is activated, including the SIP credentials needed by the service.

Tips for a smooth verification
- Keep the phone you want to verify next to you and switched on; the code is usually delivered by an automated call first.
- Enter the number with the country code and without spaces or leading zeros.
- Request a new code only after the first has expired or failed, to avoid a cooldown.
- Use a current browser and disable ad blockers on the verification page if it does not load.
- Complete the steps in order: each cover unlocks only after the previous one.
How verification relates to free Credits
The pool of free Credits is allocated primarily to logged-in users, so verified accounts can use Globfone Free without competing for open slots. When your balance runs low you can request a Mini-Boost by watching a short ad.
Verification in the Premium panel
Premium users follow the same logic inside the Premium panel: complete the profile tab for 1/3, add and verify a number under Caller ID for 2/3 and complete your first card payment for 3/3. Because the credibility system is shared, progress made in Premium helps Free, and progress made in Free helps Premium.
Questions
Do I need to verify for both Free and Premium?
No. The level is shared, so one completed path benefits the whole account.
Is my data safe?
Verification data is stored securely, phone checks are used to prevent abuse and card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by Globfone.
What if I do not want to add a card?
You can still reach 2/3 and use P2P chat, free SMS and file sharing. Free phone calls require 3/3 because voice traffic needs stronger abuse prevention.
Can I remove my card later?
Yes. After successful verification your credibility can remain at 3/3, although you would need a valid card again for future Premium top-ups.
What if verification fails?
